- Apple File Exchange New!
- Apple File Exchange replaces the earlier "Passport" software,
- and the product briefly called "InterFile." It is a generic
- "shell" for doing file transfer and translation.

- Journalling and Guided Tour
- The program lets you create guided tours of Macintosh
- applications software. Requires MacDraw; MacinTalk Development
- package also required for use with optional computer-generated
- speech.

- Macintosh Development Utilities v. 1.0
- A number of development tools and utilities, including:Edit,
- ResEdit, REdit,RMaker, etc. Note: newer versions of Edit,
- PrintCalls.Rel, and MacsBug are available in the MDS 2.1 Update.

- Macintosh Example Applications and Sources v. 1.0
- Example applications and their sources, which are mostly written
- in Lisa Pascal and therefore can be used in other Pascal
- development systems with little or no modification.

- MacinTalk Development Package v. 1.3 New!
- Contains tools and documentation useful in developing
- applications that access MacinTalk, a Macintosh speech
- synthesizer. Apple does not offer support for MacinTalk, nor
- guarantee that MacinTalk will work on any future Macintosh
- hardware. This version has been updated to work on the Macintosh
- SE and Macintosh II.

- MDS 2.1 Update; New!
- Apple is no longer marketing the Macintosh 68000
- Development System (MDS); Consulair Corp., is now distributing it
- as the Consulair 68000 Development System. A few files that were
- part of MDS 2.0 have been updated. People who ordered an upgrade
- from MDS 1.0 to MDS 2.0 will receive this update directly from
- Apple.

- Switcher Developer's Kit v. 1.0
- Includes the Inside Switcher manual which contains detailed
- technical information about the operation of Switcher written for
- experienced assembly language programmers.

- A starter kit for developers of add-on SCSI products for
- Macintosh Plus;takes a "how to do it" approach. It is intended
- for developers working on SCSI peripherals.

- printedform or as Macintosh text files. 1987 Notes are mailed
- every other month.
